American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program

Individuals ages 6 months to adults are invited to learn or improve their swimming skills this summer through the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program, sponsored by Lockhart ISD and Lockhart State Park.

PARENT AND CHILD AQUATICS CLASSES:

Level 1 – For ages 6 months – 2 years old (parent or caregiver must accompany each child in the water) - one week session
Level 2 – For ages 2 - 3 years old (parent or caregiver must accompany each child in the water) - one week session
 
PRESCHOOL AQUATICS CLASSES
Preschool Level 1 - For Ages 4 and 5 (parent or caregiver does not accompany child in the water) - two week session
Preschool Level 2 - For ages 4 and 5 (parent or caregiver does not accompany child in the water) - two week session
 
LEARN TO SWIM CLASSES:
Level 1 – For ages 6 and up - Introduction to Water Skills - two week session
Level 2 – For ages 6 and up - Fundamental Aquatic Skills - two week session
Level 3 – For ages 6 and up - Stroke Development - two week session
Level 4 – For ages 6 and up - Stroke Improvement - two week session
Level 5 – For ages 6 and up - Stroke Refinement - two week session
Level 6 – For ages 6 and up - Advanced Options - two week session
 
ADULT SWIM CLASSES:
This class will consist of Learning the Basics and/or Improving Skills and Swimming Strokes.
 
 
 
 

Lions Adventure Camp 

Children are offered a variety of age-appropriate activities in active, creative, discovery, and
cooperative play. Activities such as sports, team games, science, creative snacks, music and dance,
artistic expression, crafts, open swim/water play, and others are offered throughout the summer.
Camp is open to children entering kindergarten through those entering 6th grade. Those entering
kindergarten must have completed a pre-kindergarten program.

 
 
 

Karate 

Karate classes are available to all students ages 5-12 and 13 and up. Classes are held at the Clear Fork Elementary Gym on Monday evenings. Lessons will be held from June 10, 2024 - August 19, 2024.

WHO: Boys & Girls ages 5-12 & 13+

COST: $85.00 (Registration fee) + $40.00 (Uniform purchase)
WHEN: Mondays, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (Ages 5-12) and 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Ages 13+)
WHERE: Clear Fork Elementary Gym

Men's Basketball (half-court, 3 on 3 or 4 on 4)

Lockhart ISD Community Education is excited to offer men's basketball! Anyone 18 years or older and not attending Lockhart High School or Pride High School is welcome to join. 

WHEN: Sundays, 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. & Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: M.L. Cisneros Campus Adams Gym (419 Bois D'Arc Street)
FEE: $2.00/day

 

Pickleball

Lockhart ISD Community Education is excited to offer pickleball! Anyone 18 years or older and not attending Lockhart High School or Pride High School is welcome to join. 

WHEN: Sundays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: PRIDE High School Gym - Annex (419 Bois D'Arc Street)
FEE: $3.00/day
