After School Program

We are excited to share an important update regarding before and after school programming for Lockhart ISD students.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, Right At School, a nationally recognized provider of high quality before and after school enrichment programs, will offer programming for PreK through 5th grade students beginning on the first day of school. Additionally, full day programming for Lockhart ISD staff and the Lockhart community will be available beginning July 27, 2026. 

About the Program

Right At School will provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students before and after the school day. The after school program will be available until 6:20 PM each day school is in session.

Families will have flexible scheduling options and may choose:

  • 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week

  • Monthly scheduling options

  • Drop-in care opportunities

The Right at School programs are designed to keep students active, engaged, and learning through:

  • Homework support

  • Healthy snacks

  • Fitness and movement activities

  • Hands-on STEM projects

  • Team building and leadership activities

  • Creative enrichment opportunities

  • Social-emotional learning experiences

Registration Information

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open on: Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
