5th Grade:

I’m a big reader. I love fantasy fiction, mysteries, and science fiction. ~ Curtis

I want to be an author when I grow up. I love to write fantasy and science fiction stories. ~ Andrew

TAG is fun because we study many different things like animal habitats and gifted people.~ Shea

Learning about animals that live in the water is very interesting because you don’t always know what’s under there. ~ Meagan

Getting to learn new things everyday in all subjects is great! ~ Jessica

I like reading long chapter books and I want to be a vet when I grow up. ~ Alex

One of the cool things about being gifted is learning about other famous gifted people. ~ Marshall

My future plans are to play football for UT, go to the NFL, and become a lawyer. ~ James

I am interested in everything we learn about in TAG. I would like to find out if the animals we see today are the same as the ones from long ago. ~ Maria

This year I want to learn a lot about wild cats and the history of Texas. ~ Kamron

 

 

4th Grade:

I always wonder what wild animals do when no one is watching them. ~ Dylan

Birds of all sorts; parrots, hummingbirds, mockingbirds, they are all amazing to me. ~ Aubrey

Animal books excite me because I want to be a zookeeper when I grow up. ~ Rebecca

Science interests me a great deal. I want to learn about what animals do in their habitat. ~ Matthew

I love to get out paint, paper, pipe cleaners and stuff like that so I can make little buildings. ~ Taylor

 To be an astronaut . . . that is my ultimate goal in life. ~ Thomas

Math and science are my favorite subjects in school. We do science activities in TAG. ~ Erin

3rd Grade:

2nd Grade:

I love to create art. Building and making things is lots of fun. ~  Karina

When I am working at school I like to sit and work with a partner. ~ Roman

This year I want to learn about how to be a healthier person. ~ Makaleb

I want to know more about space and all the things in it. ~ Emilia

At home I like to watch and play sports and act out stories for my family. ~ Derric

1st Grade:

I like to write and learn about science at school. When I’m at home playing board games and collecting things are my favorite things to do. ~ Sarahi

At school, I like music, art, and science. In my spare time at home, I like to play computer games and collect things. ~ Josef

 

 

Teacher:

Ms. Fortman has been the TAG teacher for five years. She has worked at

Plum Creek Elementary since she began her teaching career ten years ago.

She has also taught both third and fourth grade. She truly enjoys working
