I received my Bachelor's Degrees in 1973 and taught Kindergarten for one year, 4th and 5th grades for 24 years, and mentored first year teachers before completing my Master's Degree in Mid Management in 1995. I completed my Principal's Certification in 1996. I have been in school administration since 1998 and continue to love my job watching students grow socially and academically. Navarro is a fantastic school because of our positive attitudes, our great teaching, and our caring and safe environment.
 

           I believe communication is a key ingredient for success. Please remember Attitude, Attendance, and Academics are the essential "A's" for student success. I welcome your visits and your calls. We are here to educate the students and working together as a team is very helpful. 

           On a personal note. I have 2 children and 2 wonderful grandchildren. I enjoy spending lots of time with not only my kids and grand kids, but, also, my mother, two sisters, brother, and all of their families. I love walking, reading, and taking care of my plants. I, also, have two dogs, Red and Blue, who are quite entertaining. I love my family deeply and consider Navarro Elementary a part of my extended family.
