ABOUT NAVARRO ELEMENTARY



 
Navarro Elementary houses about 408 students, 20 classroom teachers and 16 other professional support staff.  We are one of four schools that teach grades 1-5.  Lockhart is about 30 miles south of Austin in Caldwell County.  Navarro  Elementary is in the southern part of town, across from the High School and behind Clearfork Elementary.   Navarro is a great place to go to school! 

 
School Hours: 7:50a.m.-3:20p.m.
All visitors and volunteers must sign in at the office.

Programs - Accelerated Reading (AR), Content Mastery (CM), Tutoring, Talented & Gifted (TAG), Music, Active Education (AE), Technology, Library, Learning Strategist Lab, Bi-Lingual, After School Program, and Special Education Resource.

Navarro is a TEA Recognized school.  

Lions Roar is a good behavior reward program held every 9 weeks for the children who qualify.

Extracurricular Activities:  Student Council, Earth Club, Safety Patrol, 5th Grade Choir, Cub Newspaper, and a Running Club.
