Hello! I am so happy to be serving the students of Lockhart High School! It is my desire to show the students that they can achieve great things---no matter what obstacles they face, and that I will be accessible to help them reach their goals!  I want the students, their families, and the community of Lockhart to know that I am dedicating myself to achievement and all around success.

Lockhart High School is an amazing place to be.  It is truly a pleasure to be here with the hard working staff, and the outstanding, extraordinary kids.

• Bachelor of Science (Cum Laude), Education, Texas State University, 1999
• Masters of Education (4.0), Curriculum & Instruction, Texas State University, 2003
• Masters of Educational Administration (4.0), May 2007
• Manor ISD 2005-06 District Teacher of the YEAR!
• Decker Elementary School 2005-2006 Teacher of the YEAR!
• Grant writer, Receiving more than $70,000 for Manor ISD’s Reading is        Fundamental program
• Manor ISD’s Reading is Fundamental Coordinator

I am truly adore learning and the educational process. I will be starting the PhD program at Texas State University in the next year. I hope to gain a Doctorate in Public School Improvement by 2010 or at least by my 35th birthday.

I have an awesome husband, Wendall, whom I have known almost my entire life. I am the proud momma of five children---Josie Bridget (11), Haley Abigail (8), Wendall Martin, Jr.(6), Archie Rogers (4), and Baby MariLynn Olivia (1). My roots trail back to Louisiana and Southeast Texas. I will always be a true Creole Girl who owes everything to my loving mom and dad—Archie and Mary Lynn Thibodeaux, and my sister, Sheila.
