It is a pleasure to be a part of the Lockhart community. I look forward to working with the students and parents of Lockhart High School.

I graduated from Hondo High School in 1988 and attended Wentworth Military Academy from 1988-1990. I enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1992 – 1998 where I completed my B.A. in History from the University of Maryland University College in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2005, I earned a Masters Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Bilingual/Bicultural Studies.

My career in education began in 1999 at Frank M. Tejeda Academy in the Harlandale Independent School District (San Antonio, TX). During my 10 years at Tejeda Academy, I assumed the duties of classroom teacher, ESL representative, Social Studies Team Leader, and Infinity Center Dropout Recover case manger.

My mission at Lockhart High School is to work with campus staff, parents, students and the community to ensure that all students have the environment and resources necessary to be successful. I look forward to a great year in Lion Country.
