Ribbon School Panel Presentation at 2008 TASA Midwinter

On behalf of
Commissioner of Education Robert Scott, Lockhart
Junior High School was invited to a reception and
special awards presentation at the 2008 TASA Midwinter
Conference on Monday, January 28, 2008. At the
conference, the Commissioner will honor the U.S. Department
of Education's 2007 NCLB - Blue Ribbon School winners.
Linda Bertram, Interim Principal and Cheryl Thompson, 6th
Grade Language Arts teacher, will be representing the
Junior High at the conference and will serve on the panel as
presenters at the Blue Ribbon School session. Examples
of academic success at our school that have contributed to
our Blue Ribbon status will be discussed. Furthermore,
the discussion will focus on techniques that are replicable
and sustainable. |
