Technology Literacy
Per
the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, students must be
technologically literate by the end of the eighth grade. Districts
report this information to the Texas Education Agency.

Extra-Curricular Events:
The LISD Board has relaxed the
dress code at extra-curricular events for 6th-12th grade students.
Students may wear their choice of shoes. Male students may wear
their shirts un-tucked. All students must wear their IDs to all
events. If you have any questions regarding these changes, please
feel free to call. See the
Dress Code for Games.
I.D.'s
I.D.'s - You will be issued two I.D.'s. It will cost $5.00 to replace a lost I.D.

Technology Standards for Students
As foundational skills penetrate throughout our society, students
will be expected to apply the basics in authentic, integrated ways
to solve problems, complete projects, and creatively extend their
abilities.
ISTE's National Educatonal Technology Standards for Students
(2007) help students preparing to work and contribute to the social
