veggies!! YEAH!!
              Poor vegetables, they have such a bad
                        reputation.  They are the unsung heroes of the
                        Food Pyramid.  They provide us with so many
                        nutrients.  They give us lots of vitamins (A, Bs
                        C, D, and E).  They also give us lots of minera
                        (calcium, potassium, iron ,etc.).  Don't forget
                        the carbohydrates and fiber.  They also have
                        the ability to help us fight off diseases such as
                        some cancers and birth defects!
 
  
How many servings do I need to 
eat and how often?
3-5 servings every day.
How big is a serving size? 1 C. leafy vegetables
1/2 C. raw, non leafy vegetables
1/2 C. cooked vegetables
3/4 C. vegetable juice
