Library Media Center Library Media Specialist: Gay Culpepper Library Media Aide: Kindois Barker The Lockhart Junior High Media Center has one fully certified library media specialist and one full time library media aide. The media center currently has many magazines subscriptions, newspaper subscriptions, computers with Internet access, and an automated card catalog. Media Center Policies Material Checkout Policy Students may check out 2 books for 2 weeks. I.D.'s are required for checkout. If students finish reading their books before 2 weeks, they may return them and check out 2 more. Lost Books The current replacement price will be charged for lost books. Visiting The Media Center Students who visit the media center during class must have a pass from the teacher and a student I.D. with a lanyard. Internet Usage Students may use the Internet in the Media Center for educational purposes only. Students will be required to show their I.D. and teacher pass when using the computers in the media center. If there are classes in the library, student computer use will need to be teacher assisted. |
