GED Testing

Please note: GED candidates must meet all state requirements for the GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma.

Fee: $30 per test, $15 per retake

The GED Test includes:

  • Literature

  • Writing Skills

  • Social Studies

  • Science

  • Mathematics

GED Testing Registration 
(English & Spanish)

Demographic Registration: 3:00 pm on Testing Day

Call (512) 398-0245 to register for testing

Testing Registration Guidelines:

  • Call by noon of testing date to reserve seat

  • Indicate if this is the first time since 2001 to take a GED test

  • Indicate if this is the first time since 2003 to take a Spanish GED test

  • Specify if testing is for English or Spanish

  • Arrive at testing center 30 minutes before testing to sign in and be seated

  • Candidates must bring valid ID, social security card, $30 per test or $15 per retake, and testing eligibility verification form

  • Testing will be limited to 20 examinees per test
