PTO Spaghetti Dinner & More-Feb. 9:
Clear Fork is excited to announce that we
are having a Valentine’s Social again this year. The night is going
to be packed with fun and entertainment. The 5th grade choir will
be singing and baskets will be sold by silent auction. We will
serve a spaghetti dinner with a drink for $5.00. We will have a
table set up for kids to participate in making necklaces and sports
bookmarks for a $1.00. For every child that attends there will be a
free homework pass distributed. Every grade level has been
preparing a basket filled with goodies and the baskets will be sold
the night of the social by silent auction. The highest bidder will
take home the basket. We will also have baked goods made by Clear
Fork’s staff members at the silent auction.
Picture Day:
February 11 is picture day, info coming home with
your student.
Group pictures pay on the 11th, cost is $12.
Individual pictures pay after you receive the pic proof.
5th Grade Students:
The junior high counselors will be at our school
Wednesday, February 10 at 1:15 to talk to students about next year's
schedules.
Jump Rope for Heart:
Our students will be participating in this worthwhile
activity and they need your help.

Movie Day for Clear Fork & School Holiday:
Monday, February 15 is a school holiday. At our
Hometown Theater starting at 10:00 a.m. the movie "The Lightning
Thief" will be shown and for a cost of $6.50 you can get a ticket,
popcorn, and a small lemonade. If you get your ticket signed you can
get a free homework pass too! Part of the proceeds goes to benefit
our 1st grade class so please come out and support them! (Students
must be accompanied by an adult.)

Study Island:
This is an online software program that allows our
students to practice Math skills based on the TEKS. TEKS are
standards mandated by the state. Please go to
www.studyisland.com and
login. This is for 3rd-5th grades. The students have been given
their user name and password.
Careers:
3rd-5th grade will be using this site to investigate
careers throughout the year and creating posters, brochures, and
more! Visit

learn more.
 The
Lockhart ISD's Nutrition Department is providing parents a
convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit
money into your child's school meal account at any time. This
service also provides parents the ability to view your child's
account balance through a website called MyNutriKids.com. Parents
can print out a copy of their child's eating history report.

Student Physical Fitness
Assessment:
Texas Education Agency is requiring
that 3rd-12th grade students be tested in regards to physical
fitness and you can obtain the
results of the physical fitness assessment at the end of the school
year if you request such information.
