Technology Surveys

The State of Texas requires all school districts to create a long term technology plan. The LISD district technology plan is currently being updated. One of the requirements of the district plan is to incorporate data from the school community.

 

Schedule of Events:

  • Lots is going on the last few weeks of school, some important upcoming dates are:

  • May 2 U.I.L. Ready writing and Creative writing events at our campus

  • May 5 Science Fair project brought to school and set up.

  • May 5-8 Book Fair in library (closed Friday due to U.I.L.)

  • May 7 5th grade field trip for D.A.R.E.

  • May 9 U.I.L. campus meet

1st-5th Grades, Technology in Action:

Students are learning how to use Microsoft Excel by studying terminology, using basic formulas, and creating simple charts.

 

 Student Physical Fitness Assessment:

Texas Education Agency is requiring that 3rd-12th grade students be tested in regards to physical

fitness and you can obtain the results of the physical fitness assessment at the end of the school year if you request such information.
