Superintendent Susan Bohn selected for Greater San Marcos Partnership Board of Directors
Board now includes four Caldwell area members

Lockhart Independent School District Superintendent Susan K. Bohn was nominated and approved to join the Greater San Marcos Partnership (GSMP) Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2018. Bohn joins three other Lockhart/Caldwell County area members on the board including Caldwell County Commissioner Ed Theriot, City of Lockhart Economic Development Director Rob Tobias, and First Lockhart National Bank President Roland Velvin.

“Being selected to serve on this board is an honor and great opportunity to represent the interests of Lockhart Independent School District, our city, and our county in the work of the GSMP, ensuring the vitality of our communities,” said Bohn. “In our fast-growth area, it is necessary to highlight the strengths of the school district and our community to invite economic investment and expand opportunities, especially for our children.”

The GSMP is the 501c6 regional economic development organization serving the city of San Marcos, and Hays and Caldwell Counties focused on positioning the region for a wider diversity of quality jobs for all with higher wages. GSMP announced over 660 new jobs and more than $27.8 million in investment in Hays and Caldwell Counties in the last fiscal year. Read more about the GSMP and the full annual report.
