Student Registration

2018-19 Student Online Registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Beginning with the 2018-19 school year, Lockhart ISD will be enrolling and registering all students online. Once you have completed the steps below, you will need to attend the district registration event. Early completion of the online application will expedite the registration process on April 17 &18.

Use a Device Connected to the Internet

Any device that can connect to the Internet will work to process your application.

Required Documents
     1.  Certified copy of birth certificate
     2.  Proof of residence (copy of current utility bill, current lease, or mortgage statement)
     3.  Student Social Security Card
     4.  Parent/Guardian drivers license or photo ID
     5.  Proof of immunization

Tip 1: Scan or take a picture of documents before beginning registration process so they can be attached to the application.
Tip 2: If you cannot attach documents, please bring them to the registration event.

Returning Students - Opening Soon - Watch for More Information
The TEA (Texas Education Agency) requires all students to register every school year. You are considered a returning Lockhart ISD student if you were enrolled in Lockhart ISD on the last day of school. This TEA required registration is done by updating your child’s information in Skyward Family Access along with participating in the district's back to school activities.
1. Login to Skyward Family Access.
2. Click the Online Registration button.
3. Follow the online directions to update information.
4. Attend the district registration event this summer to complete the registration process.

Use your LISD Skyward Family Access account to register a new student.
1. Login to Skyward Family Access account. 
2. Select the New Student Online Enrollment tab to complete the registration.
3. Click the Skyward Family Access button below to begin.

New Student Online Registration Process - New to District
1.  Parent/Guardian must submit a New Student Enrollment Account request.
2.  Once  an email confirmation has been received, the parent/guardian must complete the New Student Online Enrollment.
3.  Parents may upload the required documents within the online enrollment process or bring the documents to the registration event.
