Grading Policy

Grading for our class:

             Quizzes, Labs andClasswork. . . . .  20%
                                                                    100%

**Quiz and Lab grades will be entered into the grade book twice and classwork/homework once.
*** I will send a progress report home after each major test for students who failed that must be signed by a parent. 

Re-test policy
If your child fails a test, then they will have the opportunity to re-test after the following conditions have been met:

* Student received a grade below 70.
*Their review sheet has been completed.
*They attend tutorials to make up test.
* I will have one retest day in class every nine week grading period, but students should retest as they go to improve their scores.
Late work and make-up work policy
Late Work


I will deduct 10 points from each late paper.More points may be deducted depending on how late the paper is.All missing work will be posted each week.

Make-up Work


When a student is absent for any reason, the first dayback they must check the make-up file and pick up any assignments or notes they missed. This is their responsibility, not mine.  Make-up work deadlines are twice the length of the absence.
