Classroom Rules and Procedures
1.
Expectations – Please remember to follow the class rules:

Be quiet,
courteous and respectful
·
Be prepared for
class
·
Follow directions
·
Use time wisely
·
Keep hands, feet,
and objects to self.
2.
Absences – Try hard not to miss my class. You never know what you are going to
miss. Please see me ASAP for make-up
assignments.
3.
Tardies – Go straight to the attendance office for an admit slip.
4.
Homework –
Homework is limited but when assigned, please complete during study hall or at
home. You may check the homework hotline
– 398-0804.
5.
Make-Up tests – You will be expected to make up tests on the day after
you return. This will take place during
study hall.
6.
Restroom Breaks – If you have to go- you have to go. You
may have to wait until after instruction unless it is an emergency. This is not
to be abused.
7.
Class preparation – You will need the following everyday:

Pen, pencil
·
Spiral notebook
·
Glue stick, glue
or tape
·
Map pencils;
colored markers
·
Scissors
·
An open mind and a
strong work ethic
8. Bad Stuff –
·
Candy
·
Drinks
·
Writing personal
notes
·
Cheating
·
Talking too loud
·
Getting out of
seat without permission
9.
Assessment – The LJHS grading policy is used. Tests – 80%; Homework – 10%; Daily –
10%. Spiral notebooks are graded and the
grade is used as a test grade.
