Mission & Philosophy The philosophy of Lockhart Junior High School is to provide all students with a well-rounded education that will enable them to succeed in high school and to become productive citizens of the community. 1. We will develop and implement teaching strategies to improve all students' achievement. 2. We will work to improve the self-esteem of all students and personnel. 3. We will produce and implement a workable student discipline program that will be both fair and effective. 4. We will emphasize parent and community involvement within the school. 5. We will provide a safe and secure environment within our schools.
